Veteran Ghanaian actor Ekow Blankson has died at age 50.
Circumstances surrounding his passing is not very clear as of now but colleagues such as veteran highlife artiste Rex Omar and several creative industry members have started paying tribute to him.
Aside acting, Mr Blankson was the Commercial Manager of Ghanaweb.
Before joining Ghanaweb, Ekow Blankson held positions such as Director of brands and corporate communications at Coca Cola and General Manager of Luv FM and Nhyira FM and also worked with many other media firms such as TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited, and Multimedia Broadcasting Company.
The late actor won admiration for his roles in a number of movies such as Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party and Famous.
