Celebrated Ghanaian music icon Samini has released his much-awaited new single, titled “CHAANA”. The song features the globally acclaimed Soweto Gospel Choir.
‘CHAANA’ is the first single from Samini’s forthcoming album, Origin8A, which is set to be released this year. ‘CHAANA’, which translates to ‘Shine’, is a powerful Afro-Pop anthem designed to uplift and inspire Africans, reminding them of their limitless potential and resilience.
The song blends Samini’s signature style with rich African influences, incorporating the WALA dialect from Samini’s hometown of Wa, in Ghana’s Upper West Region, and Swahili, as delivered by the Soweto Gospel Choir.
Produced by Francis Osei, ‘CHAANA’ boasts a vibrant, mid-tempo rhythm that perfectly complements its empowering message.
