
Ghanaian hip-hop and afrobeats artiste Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah known in showbiz circles as Kofi Mole, has said his “Don’t be late” song deserves to win the VGMA hip-hop song of the year hands down.
In an interview with Joy News, the rapper stated that no hip-hop song matches his “Don’t be late”.
According to Kofi Mole, his song was number one on apple music for one straight month, surpassing songs from Burna Boy, Koffee, Teni and others.
Though Nigeria songs are always on top of apple music in Ghana but i sat on everybody that time with “Don’t be late” and no hip-hop song in Ghana worked that way.
He added that “Don’t be late” which has over one million views on YouTube has a very nice composition and he is expecting to win hip-hop song of the year and the best new artiste at this year’s VGMA’s.
