The Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Asante Berko has resigned.
His resignation comes after he was charged by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for allegedly making illegal payment to gain approval for a client’s power plant project from “2015 through at least 2016.
A press release issued by the Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin indicated that President Nana Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation and has since notified the Board of Directors of TOR about the development.
