After a week-long celebratory traditional and social activities, the chiefs and people of Amanase in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region climaxed the second edition of their Bomukye Sustainable Cocoa Festival with a well atttended durbar.
The colourful ceremony saw the best Ghanaian culture in music, dance, language and dressing.
This year’s celebration was held on the theme: “Sustainable production system; aligning with EUDR and one health.
The festival aimed at fostering unity among the people of Amanase, also made way for a fundraiser to construct a police station.
