In a significant international law enforcement effort, US Embassy security agents, in collaboration with Ghanaian authorities, assisted the FBI in extraditing Joseph Badu Boateng, also known as Dada Joe Remix, to the United States.
Boateng faces charges related to running a sophisticated fraud ring that exploited vulnerable individuals through romance and inheritance scams, defrauding U.S. victims of several million dollars.
He is now in U.S. custody and will face justice for his alleged crimes.
