The Prima Foundation has officially launched its Orphanage Bedding Support Initiative, a project aimed at improving the living conditions of children in orphanage homes. The initiative, scheduled for 20th June, 2026, seeks to provide essential bedding items including mattresses, pillows, and bedsheets.

The launch marks the Foundation’s first major project of the year, reflecting its continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and enhancing the wellbeing of children.

According to the Foundation, the initiative was inspired by observations made during previous visits to various orphanage homes. During these visits, members of the Foundation witnessed firsthand the lack of proper bedding, which remains one of the key challenges affecting the comfort, health, and overall wellbeing of the children.

Under the theme “Supporting Better Sleep, Supporting Better Lives,” the initiative emphasizes the importance of quality rest in the physical and mental development of children. The Foundation believes that providing comfortable and adequate bedding can significantly improve sleep quality and, in turn, contribute to better health and daily functioning.

Speaking on the initiative, representatives of The Prima Foundation highlighted the urgent need for collective support to address this issue. They called on individuals, organizations, and well-meaning members of the public to support the cause through donations in cash or in kind, sponsorship of bedding items, partnerships, and by helping to spread awareness.

The Foundation remains optimistic that with strong community backing, the initiative will make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of children in orphanage homes.

As preparations continue toward the June 20 implementation date, The Prima Foundation encourages all to join hands in creating comfort, restoring dignity, and inspiring hope.
