Mobo award winning musician, Samini, has asked the government to conduct a mass testing to help identify persons infected with coronavirus and avoid the spread of the disease.
According to Samini every Ghanaian has the right to get tested and he thinks all 30 million Ghanaians should get tested because that’s the only way we will know the actual number of infections we have.
“If you tell me, you have 52 infections, these 52 people might have had some sort of contact with some Ghanaians at some point before we tested them, he said.
Samini called on the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, to take it to the leaders that, the youth appreciates what the leaders are doing but they want them to listen to their little quota and add it to the measures put in place to fight Coronavirus in the country.
He added that, New York and other developed states are doing mass testing and it has helped them to identify some of the infected persons.
