Veteran Ghanaian music star, Samini has revealed that he has a new Extended Play (EP) coming up.
Samini made this known during an interview with Stefenia Okereke on BBC.
According to the ‘African Dancehall King’, the title of his new EP was inspired by himself and his music director.
“The new EP is titled Sticks and Locks because me and my music director put it together. He is more of a drummer and i guess i came through with my locks.”
Be Alright is the first single off the forthcoming EP.
When asked by the interviewer to tell what life is really like behind the scenes, Samini replied, “i like books, so i went back to school. I am studying project management in school right now. I told myself years ago that i will go back to school before the age of 40. I am currently the SRC President of my school. So i am in the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. I should graduate by end of May.”
Samini, the first-ever Ghanaian artiste to win the MOBO Award, has nurtured some top musicians like Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Kaakie and more.
