Ghanaian dancehall artiste Addi Pundit, popularly known as the State Boss, has given fans and music industry stakeholders an early taste of his upcoming project, BREAKTHROUGH EP 26, following a listening session held on Thursday, October 29, at Emkay Paradise City Lounge in Tema Newtown, Bankuman.

The event brought together music lovers, industry players, supporters, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the artiste’s musical journey and preview a project that reflects his growth, creativity, resilience and artistic identity.

Although the full six-track EP is scheduled for official release next week, Addi Pundit has released one of its singles, ‘Cool Like That’, ahead of the full project, giving fans an opportunity to connect with the music before the EP arrives on digital streaming platforms.

BREAKTHROUGH EP 26 features six tracks: Betrayal, Cool Like That, No Enemy, Demi God, Hungry Days and Rough Days.

The project explores different aspects of life, touching on themes of perseverance, loyalty, ambition, betrayal and the struggles that come with the pursuit of success. Through the collection, the State Boss seeks to communicate experiences and messages that reflect his journey and musical perspective.

The listening session offered guests an opportunity to experience the sound, lyrical content and creative direction of the project ahead of its full release. It also provided a platform for the artiste to connect with his supporters.

Adding excitement to the evening were performances from supporting artistes, including Nii Macroni, UG360, KEDDI and ALO GANG, who entertained guests and contributed to the atmosphere of the celebration.

The occasion also coincided with Addi Pundit’s birthday, making the gathering a double celebration of his personal milestone and another significant chapter in his musical career.

With ‘Cool Like That’ now available, Addi Pundit is calling on music lovers, DJs, bloggers, media practitioners and industry stakeholders to support the single through streaming, sharing and promotion as anticipation builds towards the official release of BREAKTHROUGH EP 26 next week.

For the State Boss, the project represents more than a collection of songs; it marks a statement of ambition, resilience and artistic progression as he continues to establish his place in Ghana’s dancehall scene.

The breakthrough journey continues.
