“As I said, One Don is safe and I’m home now and I just want to say a big thank you for supporting me, for being around me in times like this because I needed you guys. You guys are the ones that hold me down.
“Once again, I want to say shouts out to Nii Original who has been a father to me and he’s been very supportive to me as well,” Wale said.
He continued: “And to all the staff of EOCO, you guys have been wonderful, at least I came there you guys really took me through that rightful processes that was needed and I just want to say God bless you. To Mr. Raymond Archer, I just want to tell you I thank you so much.”

The artiste was released from the custody of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after he was detained for less than 24 hours.
Wale was released after his bail condition which was earlier set at GHC10 million with two sureties was varied to GHC5 million with two sureties.
Sammy Flex, manager for Shatta Wale disclosed this to the media shortly after the artiste’s release on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
“The good news is that he has been granted bail and has been released to go home. The bail condition was reviewed from GHC10 million to GHC5 million with two sureties and that is what we are all happy about,” Sammy Flex stated.
After presenting himself for interrogation on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, he was detained and granted bail to the tune of GHC10 million with two sureties. However, the bail conditions was later varied to GHC5 million which he met and was released.
Shatta Wale was arrested in relation to investigations about how he acquired his Lamborghini vehicle which is suspected to be proceeds of fraud.
His fans massed up at the head office of EOCO on Thursday demanding his release. Music Executive and artiste manager Ricky Nana Agyemang, better known as Bullet who visited the artiste at EOCO’s office also spoke against the arrest.
Speaking to TV3 during a visit to EOCO’s headquarters in Accra on Thursday, August 21, 2025 Bullet described the arrest as a “witch-hunt” against the artiste.
Bullet claimed that Shatta Wale has legitimate business making him money and has only been targeted by authorities who he says has “designed a system for musicians and celebrities to be poor.”
“The arrest of Shatta Wale, I think it is more of a witch hunt. There’s more to it. It’s so grave that people cannot even understand. The system has been designed for musicians and celebrities to be poor, its from the top for them to suppress us and all that,” he stated.
Bullet stressed that “They don’t understand that a musician has been able to make so much money. They don’t understand the fact that a musician has been able to buy a house in Trassaco, own Shaxi company, own estates and a whole lot.”
“So, the system wants to tell us that you can never make it and you can’t make it. So nobody should be happy that Shatta Wale has been arrested,” he stated.
