As per the World Health Organization (WHO) directives, every October within every year is set aside as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Prima Media, mother of Prima News and Prima TV as part of its corporate social responsibilities, have collaborated with the Suhum Municipal Health Directorate to hold a free breast cancer screening and education exercise for our mothers, sisters, wives and more.
The program is scheduled for Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Suhum Newlife Park.
The one day event will commence at exactly 8:00 am with over 100 women in the Municipality expected to benefit from the breast cancer screening exercise.
The experienced health professionals will also take the opportunity to educate all women who will make it to the program on early breast cancer detection, prevention, among others.
Chief Executive Officer of Prima Media met with the health professionals yesterday where they expressed their readiness ahead of the event and urged all women to be there.
